Overview

Immerse yourself in the golden age of safari at Cottar's 1920s Camp. It's a marvellous mix of cream canvas tents, antique and contemporary furnishings and timeless elegance: classic Hollywood.

There are just 9 tents in total, and we think families will love the five-bedroom Bush Villa (not just because of the 25-metre lap pool).

The camp is on a small concession in the south east of the Mara and has been in the same family for four generations. With Cottar's, it's always been about the safari. No-one knows the bush better than these guys - or can guide you through it more expertly.

The accommodation is not over the top, but it is comfortable and works well. Ground sheets on the floors of the tent, but proper bricks and mortar bathrooms and the family suite has a fire place.
