If you know your safaris, you’ll be very happy at Governors’ Camps. The tents are dotted along the winding banks of the Mara River – waters which teem with birds, hippos and crocodiles – in the middle of the national reserve.
The accommodation might not be as plush as some other camps, but you can’t get much closer to the action than this: you’re already watching the wildlife, while most visitors are still making their way there. We think the best tents in the collection are at Il Moran, which comes with added finishing touches, or Little Governors’ overlooking the Musiara Marsh.
