Overview

Jack’s Camp has been synonymous with this region for decades, ever since Jack Bousfield fell in love with the savage beauty of the Makgadikgadi Pans in the 1960s. Today, it’s a world-famous place to meet meerkats. Where Africa’s second largest zebra migration takes place. And where you can race across the pans on a quad bike.

Hundred of lanterns light the camp at night and its recent refurbishment has made the camp completely solar powered. However, refurbs aside they've cleverly kept what we love best about Jack's Camp, and how it captures the earthy glamour of a traditional 1940s eastern Africa explorer camp. The cool cotton sheets and Persian rugs are the perfect contrast to the rugged wilderness beyond.
