Beautifully remodelled, Jao's new look and feel encapsulates the very essence of the Okavango Delta. The theme is botanical, with colours chosen to reflect the pristine environment - gentle creams, greens and soft purples that bring the outside in.
An elevated main lodge sits in the tree canopy and a network of walkways reminiscent of the delta's channels leads to the rooms and around the island. The rooms each have their own lounge, dining area and private plunge pool. Two villas are available for exclusive use. Safari activities take place on land and water whilst back at camp there's a main pool, a gym, a spa in the palm forest and a new museum and gallery, housing a 2-storey high skeleton of a giraffe.
