The house itself is a masterpiece of architectural design, with more than a hint of Moroccan influence. It overlooks the largest dam in the Thornybush Reserve ensuring a steady flow of animals in front of the lodge. You may not feel the need to move far from one of the three swimming pools, spa or steam room, but if you do there’s a host of activities and all are done at your own pace. There are no rigid schedules here. Head out on game drives or if you fancy something different, there are 4x4 adventures in the bush, guided walks, archery, yoga and even safari by Segway.
