Great Fish River Lodge sits on a steep bank, with expansive views of the Great Fish River. The scenery stretches for miles in every direction. And the vastness of the continent is reflected in its airy layout. Yet the lodge itself is small and intimate, with just nine suites complete with private verandas and plunge pools.
The food’s excellent, too. Every evening the team serve African-inspired meals by the roaring fire in the restaurant, on private decks, under starlit skies – you can even enjoy a romantic dinner in the library.
