Lion Sands River Lodge was the first Lion Sands lodge to welcome guests. It’s an old favourite of ours, and since it’s been rebuilt on the site of the original, feels completely new and fresh.
There are 18 beautiful rooms and suites decorated in light greys, whites and muted colours. Each one comes with an extraordinary view and plunge pool as standard. Pretty wooden walkways lead off to the main lodge where there’s a lounge, barista station, art gallery, swimming pool and gym. Whether you prefer to spend your time lounging on your deck or socialising beside the sunken fire pit after sunset, the natural and architectural beauty that surrounds you here is utterly inspiring.
