To step on board Rovos Rail is to step back in time.
It’s a time old, all inclusive way to explore Africa: a journey on Rovos Rail is so reminiscent of romantic train journeys at the turn of the 19th century. Our favourite routes are the two-night journey from Cape Town to Pretoria, the three-night passage from Pretoria to Victoria Falls – which also includes a game drive in Hwange National Park en route – and the epic 15-night journey from Cape Town to Dar in Tanzania.
The pace is leisurely. The atmosphere is refined. We love relaxing in the observation car and watching the magnificent landscapes fly by.
