Laze on an outdoor bed, built for stargazing. Take a bath with an incredible view. Fall asleep to the sounds of hippos grunting in the water.
Ruckomechi is strung along the the banks of the Zambezi – you can’t stay any closer to the river than this. During winter months it’s a great spot for game. The animals congregate around the river and you can expect to see buffalos, elephants and even the occasional predator.
It’s a truly beautiful place to savour the real Zimbabwe. (The sundowners on the sandbanks are amazing, too.)
