Founders Camp is absolutely gorgeous. It sits on the banks of the Sand River, shaded by ancient ebony and matumi trees and is connected by interlinking decked walkways that lead you right down to the water’s edge.
The rooms are finished in a classic safari style – think mahogany beds, leather couches and swathes of cream fabric. It’s a very child friendly place to stay, too. Lots of the rooms have recently been enlarged and given a second bathroom: we think they work really well for families.
