The staff at The Oyster Box ring a bell whenever there are dolphins in the surf. And thanks to its direct access to the beachfront, you've usually got time to reach the water's edge to catch a glimpse. The spa is sublime: we had the hot lemon and sugar body treatment and absolutely loved it. We're also big fans of the bar and secluded swimming pool. Seeing as you're in Durban, it would be wrong not to sample the curry buffet. Oh, and the afternoon tea here is simply legendary.
